Technical certification from technical college, or superior.
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in lifts management.
Basic Requirements:
Extensive knowledge in lifts technology.
Deep knowledge of operations in all areas (lifts, slopes, snow making, snow grooming, ticketing, ski school and winter & summer activities) and their related technology.
Experience in managing large, multidisciplinary teams
Basic knowledge in Finance
Fluent written and oral English
Intermediate user of PowerPoint and Excel
Strong organization skills, cultural adaptation
Leadership, objective & project orientation
High ski level
DESCRIPTION
PGI Management is looking for an Operations Director who will be responsible for mountain operations in ski resorts abroad. The ideal candidate is a leader who is able to manage local and international employees, an excellent problem solver, and with deep knowledge of processes and technology related to the different areas, which encompass ski operations.
Responsibilities:
To lead and coordinate the different operations areas: lifts, slopes, snow making, snow grooming, ticketing, ski school and activities (winter and summer).
To manage the project, with a profitability orientation and being the cornerstone of the team.
To define, coordinate and follow-up the different projects (including maintenance) to be carried out in the ski resort.
Additional Requirements:
Engineering education is highly valued
MBA in Operations Management or other business-related discipline is a plus
Spanish and other languages is a plus
Valid driving license
