Required Education:

Electrical certification from technical college, or superior

Experience:

At least two years of experience in lift electrical operations and maintenance.

Basic Requirements:

Knowledge of electrical and electronic control/sensor devices and their functions, testing and installation.
Expert working knowledge of all types of electrical equipment including AC motors and motor control, AC variable speed drives, DC motors, DC variable speed drives, battery powered low voltage 24VDC controls.
Must be familiar with analogue, digital, and PLC controls interfacing low and high voltage systems to operate ski lifts and snowmaking systems.
Expert troubleshooting skills using electrical testing equipment to diagnose problems
Understanding of electrical drawings / schemes
Vast experience in ski resorts
Ability to climb/work at substantial heights (in winter and summer season)
Intermediate user of PowerPoint and Excel
Cultural adaptation
Fluent written and oral English
High ski level


DESCRIPTION

PGI Management is looking for a Lift Electrician who will be responsible of electrical equipment in ski resorts abroad, including chairlifts and other related installations. The ideal candidate holds competent electrical skills with an extensive experience in ski resorts.

Responsibilities:

Performing and supervising electrical installations, including preventive and corrective tasks.
Managing and organizing urgent corrective electrical maintenance.
Performing tests to validate the correct functioning of the installations where maintenance is executed.
Controlling stock and material purchase forecast, required for maintenance.
Registering tasks, as well as elaborating operational reports.
Maintaining tools, equipment and spare parts.
Additional Requirements:

Knowledge in access control systems is a plus
Qualified certificate in low voltage
Valid driving license
Spanish and other languages is a plus
